Tuesday was the dreaded day for teachers, the day after Sugar High, also known as Halloween.  My students were so dreadfully tired that I only had 1 student to really deal with.  Throughout the day we have worked on Author's Purpose and I am so happy that I have found Pinterest.  That site is my new addiction besides donorschoose.  Pinterest has helped me come up with ideas for 2nd grade to store and use whenever I do not feel, well let's say in the creative mode.  Let me tell you that seems like alot these days.  What do they say, "Teachers beg, borrow, and steal."  I just want to say right now, Thank You to all the teachers that I have begged, borrowed or stolen ideas from! 

This past week!

I went to Tech Fun with some great ladies!  I finally learned how to download text into my PC, I was so excited that I came home and tried it on my Mac :O  I love my Mac, but at times like these it is frustrating because it is not the same.


Halloween Day my students came to school dressed in their pajamas.  We SYNERGIZED with a 5th grade class and did a bunch of activities.  We started out by having the 5th graders help the 2nd graders with a ghost craft.
